should the yellow belt be set tighter, looser or the same as the blue. in stock with the blue i could run the belt as loose as possible, is this ok with yellow.

Try starting with something along the line of 60wt (60piston up front / 55-56 piston in rear) and black springs all around...

Check out Todd Hodge's setup on the Losi site - as a base ozite setup - it seems to work fairly well

Heres a pic of the hard upper bumper with scuff marks where it hits the shock. I am going to put the old Lexan bumper retainer on I think.

ausracer, yes you can run it as loose as possible, it won't hurt it, but you can hear it skipping sometimes. I just run it a tad more than fully loose.

Only problem with the old bumper brace on the G+ is it causes the bumper to seflect down which cracks the bumper very easy.

Just ran my G+ for the first time, Great kit, but bad news, do NOT run this car on anything but a clean parking lot or indoor track. the parking lot i ran on had some pebbles and sand that screwed up my motor and got into the diff bearings. Great car though, it ran great until the sand had its way. The parts fit and finish are not quite up to Tamiya or even HPI's standards (my spur gear came a little warped, but losi is sending me a new one free), but this kit has all the goods you need, great value. here's a pic.

having the corally plugs like that will arc on the chassis. or at least when i look at it, have you modified the battery holder?

I havent had a problem with trinity plugs they have done very well
