sorrie,no idea abt the congo springs,...
but judging from the springs tat u r using,is there a high chance tat it's softer?...

the losi springs r of a larger diameter than normal springs,so i think it's better 2 stick with losi,...jus my personal view...

Team PRP Megatune Shock Towers are here! We received them into stock and they are now up on the website. I put them on the front page so you may have to refresh your browser to see them. There are three options to choose from and they are as follows.

1. Front Tower

2. Rear Tower

3. Front and Rear Towers

This is perfect if you are looking to get more adjustment out of the XXX-S for all different track conditions. These bolt right on with no modifications required.

mayb toe-in/out would affect the speed of the car most, but if u wan more speed, jus bolt in a hotter motor and off u go...but u will need 2 consider all these tuning options in order 2 get a stable car during corners...

bigdog-The locked front diff made the car lazy going into the turn and you better hold on when you exit the corner. It made the car hard to drive on the exit. Not very predictable like a diff. Paul ran a locked diff at the Octoberfast. He was the fastest car on the track but I think he would have been a little better off with the diff.

senna-That's a heavily loaded question!!!

Senna,

If you call at my shop I will sit you down with a cup of coffee, and explain all the terms..........with the greatest of pleasure.

I would also suggest you go on Tony Phalan's site, where he explains them all very accurately, and in layman's language. I will give you his site address when you call, as I don't know it offhand.

Oh, and by the way. I collected your Losi chassis and other bits from the post office this morning.

Call when ever you like.

See you.

Joe.

any toe in/out is slowing you down. cos the tire are scrubbing off speed. in a straight line none of the others will affect speed. in a corner it will mean how much and how long you can stay on the gas. also if you are cranking the wheel of your radio full lock then you are pointlesly scrubing off speed, when you keep turning the wheel but the car isnt going with it you are losing lots of speed.

now question for me. what the diff between changing the castor and changing the kickup if you end up with the same amount overall. i am thinking you may end up with a bit of a bind in the hinge pin if you run all kick up i just want some more oppinions.
