Schumacher uses purple anodising on their aluminum parts, and so does HPI.

Yes I had that problem, It comes from running the diff too loose.

you guys gotta remember though, lemieux is a trininty driver. first and foremost. according the losi's website lemieux isint part of the team. you would think that it would be either spashett or lemieux getting the nod for the car but they already had the whole francis line-up out for it and he's officially team losi. i personally think paul is a great guy and would love to see him get the name on the box but i doubt it will go his way.

Hi Guys,I have just fitted a graphite kit to my xxxs and find a noticeable change. It is obviously lighter,Stiffer(the old chassis was pretty stiff)and it turns in even harder!!I got my kit from Sheldons and I am in Australia-no problems.I have also put bearings in the sterring and have no problem with slop.

I don't think it needs someones name attached to the title. Why not stick to the XXX-Special or something. Remember, The Streetweapon was an IWC, not a Spashett or Lemieux. Anyway who is Lemieux we don't hear of him much in England.

Why do they feel the need to bother with 'special editions' ??
Get the car right, and then sell it. that's it, all this coloured stuff is just to get you suckers to spend more money. I got a kit standard XXXS and set up right it is awesome, I'm damm sure I don't need blue, red, green, purple or any colour of anodized pretty parts to make me go better.....
maybe I'm just old and cynical though....
and OBY where in Scotland are you?? I've yet to melt a diff on mine, even with 11 triple indoors on carpet !!

paul lemieux is a young gun who grew up on shumacher. trinity picked him up and then losi did. he won the roar nats w/ a xxx-s. he's a great guy, really nice, and would give you a brand new chassis if you gave him a broken one!

Default To make your XXXs front end bulletproof

Put Kevlar in front of it, sorry bad joke. Well for those of you who are new to the XXXs or haven't heard about the XXXs' front end weaknesses, there are a couple I found along with my friends I run with. One problem is the C hub in front breaks on impact really easily there are couple ways of preventing that from happening again. One way is by the BRP wide bumper for it along with the Dynamite foam bumper which is denser than stock. The other way is buy the Dynamite Aluminum C hubs for it. Well I personally did all of the above. The other known problem is the kingpin screw in front keeps stripping out the stock hub carrier one way to fix that is CA glue if you are on a budget the other way is buy the Trinity hub carriers part number is 1118. Sorry dont know the other part numbers. Oh and stay away from the Dynamite Motor Heatsink it requires you to shorten the mount screws or it sticks thru the chassis. Well everything else is cool. The car runs really smooth and handles really well out of the box. Oh personal experience if you are running stock spur gear with P2K2 motor use 27 pinion anything above that your motor runs REALLY HOT.
