yeah, a couple of the guys at my track have the same problem and they have told me to just deal with it, they can't get rid of it either. I don't believe it affects performance, it's just annoying...

Has anyone heard any whispers about whether Losi are going to bring out a "Spashett Edition" or something similar of the XXX-S?

I'm thinking full Graphite parts, and threaded shocks of the right length in the kit.

what different oil/piston setups are you guys getting to work? mainly looking for carpet but anything works.
i mainly run 50/50 w/ 56 pistons f+r. or 50/50 56 front 55 rear piston. 40/40 56/55 f/r works as well , all of these are rubber tires on carpet

Reedy Race Set Up

Front
56 piston
60 wt oil
purple sping
3mm droop
#3 hole on tower
#3 camber link position
1/2 degree of camber
4.5mm ride height
arms middle
0 kick up
4 degree caster blocks

Rear
56 piston
60wt oil
purple spring
5mm of droop
#3 hole on tower
#1 camber link position
A hole on hub
inside hole on arm
titanium ball stud used
1/2 degree of camber
4.5mm ride height
1/2 degree toe in blocks on the correct way (2.5 rear toe in)
arms middle
0 anti squat
batteries foward

Matt started with 80wt oil all the way around and said that he was going to go down to 60wt so I put the 60 wt in my car. He also used steel out drives in the front with the diff a little tighter than the rear. He ran his gearing at 31/128. He also ran his front arms slightly foward with one regular spacer and a .030 in the rear of the arm and one .030 spacer in the front.

I spoke to Matt today and he stayed with the 80wt oil.
