I did break a rear arm once, but the car looked wrong right from the box, and it looked the same after replacing the arm. I've built four XXX-S's now, and three of them appeared this way. One that I built for a friend looked correct, and for the life of me I can't see what's different about that one.

Make sure that when you're looking at it, that you're head is straight.

mr. losi - THANKS for posting those setups! Very cool.

Trips - I just checked my rear toe an it's the same on both sides (running the 1/2 deg graphite hubs).

Thanks. If I head up to race this summer at Billys track, I'll settle for 5 gallon bottle of water - I almost melted there last summer.

one thing I haven't noticed in the setups people have been posting is battery location, do most run the forward position?

mark-what foam bumper is that on your car?

I can't wait to run mine, too much snow!

I bought my car used and I am wondering if I should set it to the stock setup first or try what's on the car I don't have it in front of me but from what I can remeber the current setup is

low roll center blocks
losi blue springs all around
60wt oil #57 pistons?
the rear shock are almost standing straight up and the fronts are leaning in more
one-way front diff-definatly going to take this out to start

I will be running on a prepared asphalt track, pretty smooth but there are some bumps here and there.

Not to sound sarcastic, but it is my foam bumper. Not too happy with the foam bumpers that are out there and have been testing new materials.

Ive gone from single block to a two layer foam. It is working well.

We will see where it goes....

Wish I could go.

We will have daily coverage here on R/C Tech just like we did for the Novak race. Pictures and results.

I am leaving on Monday morning bright and early. I guess you could say I am the fall back guy for reporting, at least I offered to be.
