Depends on which part of the country you live in. On this side (west) there's not a lot of carpet tracks, especially in Arizona where we get 340+ days of usealbe outdoor weather.

I just look at the 12th talent pool here in the US, and there aren't a whole lot of World's level folks in 12th out West, comparitively speaking of course.

World's on carpet, I think your top ten in no order could look a whole lot like this:

Blackstock, Lufaso, Cyrul, Orr, Spashett, Baker (Props to the West on that one), Doseck, Masami, Hara, McMahon.

I did all my coverage of this past year's Snowbirds on my cell phone. It's slow but it works.

Wish I could be there for this one! I am sending three of my guys tomorrow down to the track to do video, though. Hopefully it will turn out well.

Is there any good live coverage of the worlds anywhere on the internet.

not yet, Orion is "supposed" to have some coverage but it was pretty much non-existant during the 1/12 portion.

How about we stop talking about Orion's shortcomings with live coverage and talk about Masami winning his 14th overall world title and his 4th title in 12th scale in the last 5 world championships. Is he running TC? Id like to see him finish out his electric resume by winning the TC title. He has won every other electric world title (Pro10 1x, Pro12 5x with his title this year, 2wd offroad 4x, 4wd offroad 4x). That is what I call the most versatile electric RC racer in history!

How's about we get off Orion for a bit and just bask in the glory of one of the great champions in RC history

It would have been nice if the host track prepared hi-speed access kind of like a press-center...heck, they even got connectivity in Brazil for their WC. You can't blame Orion for not providing updates, I'm certain their best people or on it but if you show up and all there is for connectivity is a dixie cup and some string, what can you do?

It's just unbelievably if Orion is the only live coverage. There must be Americans that does the coverage of the worlds also.

We can't be debendent on a european company going to US to do all the live coverage of the TC worlds.

Usually there is good coverage of all the major races in europe(often provided by Orion) and japan but the TC Worlds in USA, the most important race in the rc world, have no US based coverage, really makes one wonder in what state RC racing is in the US, is it dying

Let's not be so harsh on Orion. It has said on their site that they wouldn't be starting their coverage until the 12th Finals on Monday.
