Good luck to everyone, both those competing and those organising it!

PS, anyone got any photos of what track layout will be? I saw the ones from the pre-worlds and if they are anything to go by there should be some exciting racing!
there are pictures, although small, on the team orion website.

I posted a handful of pictures of Pre-Race practice pictures. There will more TC practice photos tomorrow, from a couple of the Florida tracks. Jarrod will also start with the 12th scale coverage tomorrow.

It's almost the worlds layout. The main difference is where they come on and off the straight. They made it so the straight is shorter....more electric friendly as the track is BIG. The way Jorge and crew made the layout it should make for some great over taking but also some real question markers as almost 180s at the end of the straight always do.

Due to the rule changes there have been many sitings of one color bodies being painted or mounted around the hotel. Which is extremely nice for the price.

Biggest complaint I have heard is no internet in the room as some have not been able to get there dial up to work. We are using NetZero and it has worked so far. Now if we only had a digital camera.

For those of you that are not here and want to stay as up to date as possible check out the Team Orion webpage as well as the Peak Performance webpage for pics and comments.

And of course stay tuned to the greatest site on the web...of course our own Shane Archer's rctech.net.

Brian

P.S. Gotta love the Todd Putnam shameless plug.

P.S.S. This 10 days brought to you by Miller Lite and Mt. Dew (Still yet to see an "entertainment" establishment.

P.S.S.S. Rangulo, what temp. should I bust the pants and sleeves out at?

P.S.S.S.S. The Hooters is very good.

lets hope there's plenty of nice sunny weather for the racing.

Actually, The worst weather should be long gone for this year. Jorge and FTS just took the brunt of most of it.

Here is the local forcast.

http://www.weather.com/weather/local...ocalUndeclared

and just for good measure, no big weather in the tropics

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov

Looking like thier should not be too many interuptions for the wet stuff. ( hopefully )

Default "entertainment"

Greg Anthony: You need to go nort into orlando, more specificly the OBT/441 Area for the "entertaninment" Rachels in Orange ave. Rocks! Kissimmee is way to "famili oriented" for that type of stuff.

TIRE SAUCE? Will this be the deciding factor? Hope not! I think the guy that is fastest early in practice (2nd session) will win. Who will have the motor advantage? Battery advantage? Body? How did the Yokomo pass approval. What would Dodge say about it? Hopefully everyone will not use one ways. Hopefully IFMAR will ban one ways eventually for better racing.

The TC4 is almost like the TC3 but with way more set up options. BAKER knows all of them. And with lots of TEAM TESTING. Almost every TC4 will have the same set up, the fast one.

Losi has not done enough outdoor testing to have a perect set up. The Losi guys will all have different set ups and be conflicting with each other on which is better, they didn't even have a perfect set up at the track they have tested the most at Region 12 race. How are they going to find one at a track that none of them have tested at yet.

Waldron you have got to be kidding on your top 5 pick.

Hodapp will be fast if he can keep his head up.

It is hard to bet against HARA with the way he has been driving the last year.

Tamiya guys will be fast.

Cyrul will be there if he drives like he did last week at 200mm, but will he have the Batts and Motors?

Spashett or maybe even Hohwart will be top Losi.

Yokomo will struggle with new parts, but Massami will be in the main.

Schumacher should have the best starting set up.

I just hope someone wins with "The Wheel"
Baker, Hodapp, Pavidis, Hohwart, Toso, Ryan C #2, and many more not in particular order. Brian needs to run one again too.

Good luck too all. Just my 200 cents.

Looks like Masami is fastest in 12th scale practice today, like that is a surprise.
