sorex, hpi ... on brushed concrete

We are running on abrasive (non-dusty) concrete in the Texas heat, and I'm wondering about tires that will last. I've been doing tire research, but am still confused. Do I have this right?

sorex 36R will last longer than 32R, but have less traction?

Hpi D compound... I'm assuming these will last longer and have less traction than sorex 36R. Is this correct?

HPi pro compound is softer that D?

Hpi Super is softer than pro?

What is M compound? How does it relate to the others?

How would the HPI super compare to the sorex 36R as far as longevity?

Are the foams that come in the HPI premounts any good?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm just trying to get my head around all this onroad stuff, and don't want to be buying new tires every few days because they wear out. We are just a few guys running in a concrete parking lot looking for a little grip and decent tire wear.

Thanks a bunch,
michael

36R tires are a little harder, but they'll work better on higher temperature surfaces. And don't worry about tire wear. If you're not racing every day of the week, then they should last you a good while.

We're running HPI X-Pattern Pro Compound Tires on concrete in Florida.

Last about 4-5 months, two meetings a month... but we are a small club so we get about 60-70 minutes of run time a meeting between practice, qualifiers, main and another set of qualifiers.

The D-Comound tires are harder than Pro Compound so they'd last longer but you'd probably want to set your suspension a bit softer.

Thanks for the info guys. Keep it coming. Ill take all the help I can get.

So where does the sorex 36r fit in with the hpi D, pro, supers as far as grip and wear? Still don't know what the M compound is.

We will probably be running about 2 hours a day twice a week. The stock ofna tires on our jl10es only lasted one day... brushless power:)
