amazing what a body can do!!

i pulled my old ff01 out of the garage a couple nights ago..
tossed a hpi blitz esc on there with a 19t money motor..
new body and wheels...
this will be a kickbutt car for my 10y/o daughter to learn on.
its just pretty awesome what a couple bucks can do for a 14 year old rc car!!
i get quite a kick out the fact that the car is 4 years older than my daughter
:D

Hi, what color of green did you paint the body?

Thanks.

monkee 05-04-2010 11:39 AM

isnt that green cool?
its pactra's new lime ice colour...
you buy the lime paint, then have to follow it w/ their special black backing paint to bring out the depth..
i really like it

I usually take pics before I glue. Unglued tires may not handle worth poo but they are the most photogenic.

That is a nice paint job. You better take plenty of pics before the daughter drives it. I had just finished painting my VTA car. Not even 5 minutes into the maiden voyage I let my money drive it and he flipped it over and it dragged down the driveway. The roof was all scrateched and messed up. But, he had fun which is all that matters. Enjoy driving with you kid.

Clean and simple, nice job.
