Looking for some help with a Hobbywing V3.1 1cell. I bought it off from a forum and it is brand new but no box or instructions came with it. I am going to be using it for 1 cell oval 13.5 spec. It does not seem to be in blinky mode from the factory. Do I need anything other than the program box to get it in blinky mode? Are there any preferred settings that are recommended to get the most out of Blinky? Thanks in advance for any help.

I ran 10.5 boosted in a TC, and 7.5t in a 2wd buggy with zero issues.

New settings from the Gulfcoast Raceway tracks for you guys to enjoy. It's been a while since I have been on asphalt, but my HW V3.1 and V10 4.5T motor were on point the whole weekend. Came close to the win for the first time in about 2 years. Did have the fastest car by the end of the weekend and I think the power package was largely responsible for it. My car was the fastest and smoothest the whole weekend. Zero issues with temps or power in 100 degree Texas Summer heat. Enjoy:

not sure that i see the point as you need to use the programming box as the interface anyway...

Unless Im mistaken, the older 2.1 escs need a PC to change to and from blinky.
Id like to be wrong about that if anyone can point me in the right direction lol.

Seems to me upgrading to 3.1 and progranning box would be cheaper than a tablet.

I didn't know about that tidbit though, thanks.

Fair comment, but I can get a second hand tablet/mini laptop for around the $100 mark and a 3.1 120a costs closer to $300 where I am. Still, your right. Its false economy, so Ill just spend the money and buy the new esc. Of course android software wouldnt have cost me anything lol.
