i think bily just wnt to make more of a career for himself.. rather then just a racer/... i can imagine a nice bankroll to take him from associated... ive seen mike reedy with billy at races and they seemed to have a bond...great news for duratrax.. maybe we will see a duratrx worl champion car....

if a tamiya can win a worlds a duratrax can..

He's already proven himself as a world class winner, now he probably wants to add world class designer to his list. I think this will be a great move for him, and Duratrax. There products wont look the same to me now

duratrax def ha money if u consider all ther cheap kits they have... im sure this is a leap for them to try to make a kit that can compete with allof the current top level kits... duratrax is big so i can see it

Hmmm!

I wonder if he'll stay in SoCal. I remember he'd been complaining about pay and various other things while working (in the warehouse) at AE, so this is probably a pretty smart career move for him. Now he gets to be out of the building and at the track more.

I wonder if other "non-racing" companies will start shelling out the cash for other big-name drivers.

ill say it again... no need for name calling.. tamiya guy... its the truth.. before recently tamiya was known for rc toys.. not race vehicles... i think it will be the same with duratrax.. it was not a dig at tamiya.. but a truthful comment...

You really think he will be running a Duratrax at the worlds next year? I expected this on 4/1, I guess truth is stranger than fiction.
