I want comments regarding this motor. What is the feedback, is it better than the standard looking motors such as Ti, Kr, Pt, D6 etc

if you did a search then you would have fount a few. Leray said that he was using a 9dbl Atushi Hara ver. He also said that he compared it to others and it is by far the best in this range

Main thing is if the power from this motor is in the same range as the KR motors, it is a great buy as you get a long wear time compared to all other mods. That alone for for me is perfect reason to buy.

I am using a hara 10x1 in my XXX4 with the long wear enduro brushes. All I can say is wow, crazy fast. I use a small 5v fan on it in the car and temps stay around 130 to 140 degrees.
Excellent motor.

These seem to lack some punch. I've been running them in off road in a XXX4 and they are good there because you don't really get too much wheel spin. But when running them onroad, the 9x1 I've been using seems to be lacking a little in torque. It'll scream down the straight, but it lacks alot in the bottom end. I'm sure some more tuning and testing with different gearing and timing will get some better results. May just take some time.

Motors with twisted comm are to be used only for small tracks. The gearing should be between 7.5 and 9.5 for the 12x1 HT, usually 5 teeth lower than with the usual motors / same winds. They have less power, but much more RPM. Counterpart is that they do heats a LOT, and that's why they're not suited for anything else than short tracks. If you have a look at the armature, you'll see no soldering, because of the heat.


The others V2 should be geared down 1/2 teeth compared to the usual motors/same wings.

They are not faster than the other ones, but the brushes last longer.

However, I prefer by far my standup motors with CS brushes. Got 50 runs out of em brushes, got power, not fearing to burn the comm, skim the comm about every 10/15 runs... Best of both worlds IMHO.
