The Assassin is one of the most expensive TC and needs a few options like the new spurgear holder for example...could be a reason why it was not so succesful...

Talking Berkut Type T01

Found this yesterday.
It has a direct drive like the Assassin. Ireally like the simplicity ofthe design.

Kit page for the Berkut: http://team-osion.com/rc/berkut/index.html

Direct Drive FWD Touring Car SALAMANDER (from 2003): http://team-osion.com/rc/osionfx/index.html

earlier version of the same car: http://team-osion.com/rc/osionfx/2002.html
I've always had a thing for FWD cars because of the scale driving aspect, still trying to get my hands on a Yoke FWD

Pics of the rear motor car can be found if one looks.

The mention of losi prototype in the first post refers to the car with the central mounted batt and rear motor. I think it was meant to say "losi looking". To me, it looks more like the Kyosho KX-1 of a few years ago.
