21 hours is HARDCORE!!!!

After speaking with another MAJOR race promoter/director, the timing rules have been established for this year's Champs. For Oval classes with existing speedo limitations, those will be enforced. TC 17.5 will run to ROAR's limited speedo rules. All other classes will be open speedo. So 12th stock is boosted. The ruling is based on the fact that we believe the single cell roadcourse classes are slow enough for a large track like the Champs.

Ian, Any thought give to setting up a pit room for those that want to race, but might not be able to stay. I know Bill never liked that idea but I would rather have them race than stay home.

I personally would like to see this race moved to a different hotel where there's enough room for everyone to pit near the track. This is one of the reasons i like the soon to be nonexistent IIC race. I'd pay an extra $10 or so entry fee for this convenience.

Default SPEED CONTROL RULING

I am planning on going this year! What are the speed control rulings for the on road classes? I will run 17.5 touring car if it is open.

I would like to see an open practice on Friday night for racers that won't be there on Thursday like me.

I am glad to see the oval guys will join us this year! Welcome.
