josh short,

I have been using the three hole pistons front and rear, with 60wt oil front and 40wt rear. I have blue springs on the front and yellow on the rear. I also have my rear shocks fully stood up on the rear using the Tamiya hopup carbon shock tower.

I have a yellow swaybar on the back with a red swaybar up front. I also have the graphite rear stiffeners fitted.

This is working for me on our asphalt surfaces at Castlehill, Whalan, Windsor and Penrith located in Australia.

Regards,

Calvin.

Thanks for all the help on the Gearing worked out so far good for me.
Maybe someone who has ran this chassis can answer why the front arms and shafts are rubbing like crazy and vibrating the whole front end on this thing?

Thanks in advance for your help in this matter

I originally put mine together with the dogbones. Dogbones in the front end are pretty much useless for racing and the front end shakes like a dog pooping peach pits.

The cvd's are a must. TC5 cvd's will work if you use the AE bearings and a bunch of shims.

I have HB Cyclone WCE CVD's in mine, and only a few shims to take up side slack.
Original bearings are used

Still running with dogbones too.
Happy with them and also was donated a set of bones and axles from a fellow racer (thanks Granpa) since he noticed I still ran em.
A little antiwear grease and they're holding up fine.
If they are shakin and binding there is something off with the shimming inside the outdrives.
Had it at first then got it right.

Hey Guys,

i just ordered a pro with some OPīs.
The only thing i donīt know is, what suspension blocks
are the one to use in a FF03 ??

1C-1C; 1XA-1D or 1E like with my TRF417 ?? Should it be narrower ??

Has someone tried the HPI Springs?? What are the results ??

Front:
XD - XD

rear
XD - A (-2.5deg)

going wider might lead to fitting problems with the FF shells available (Accord, Civic EG, etc)
