Yeh, instructions pretty tricky.

put diff rings, diff gear, bearings etc. together then,

flip the assembly and insert screw, thrust bearing etc...

then make sure the diff goes in the cases the proper way

The picture shows the head of the diff screw on a certain side.
I thought the picture looked like the diff nut til I looked more carfully.

tricky but when it's right, it's right

Has anyone actually built the diff correctly first time?
Think we all have missed the bit that says to flip the diff?

Did not use other parts then the ones come within the kit.

I did build the diff right but put it in the case wrong, thought the pic showed the side with the nut, it was the screw head in the pic.

It does work fine and I am still running the dog bones.

Love the double rear spoiler and roof scoop! Does the front foam bumper fit? Did you run it today?

Cool SWIFTY

Rod,
Once again you've out done yourself. Those rims look sweet with that paint scheme!
How does the body handle with the Porsche set-up you had?

O.K. I must have one!!!!!!

Lee,
Did you run your FF03 at the Mazda cup today? Izzy told me he saw you and Christian at the track last night! If you did what body did you use?
Inquiring minds want to know!

Hi Guys. Yes, I did run it today and put a few scratches into it I did have to trim a bunch of the foam bumper off to get it to fit. I think there's maybe 5mm of foam left from the edge of the plastic bumper parts. As for handling, there is definately more steering for the first third of the turn (initial to mid) and gives the car a slightly washy-rear end feel on corner entry.

Also Max, don't give me that much credit. All I did was follow directions...Tamiya did an awesome job with this body.

Other than that, it's just neat to look at will driving.

Rod's car is a cheater!

Not cuz of the wing but cuz it drives itself!

He let me wheel it and I could hardly put a wheel wrong, full punch, every corner.
That's with me the super amateur on his radio, cross handed/goofy foot/lefty style.
Like I said a cheater car.

A couple of those scratches are mine, sorry dude!

Lemme know if you decide to pickup that deal cuz I'll take what you don't use for sure.

You have a pm too.

Lol Cuda...hopefully the car will be cheater good next weekend at Cal Raceway. It'll be the first time running at that track and I'm going in cold turkey Yesterday, the car did have that slight washy feeling and didn't feel as stable or as fast as it would with a Porsche body but it is fun to look at. And once you get used it it, was okay to drive. No setup changes, same setup as posted last month.

I'm going to Ultimate after the rednec....errr Nascar race and Chargers game, so if they have any, you got dibs on the receiver. Not entirely sure about the speedo yet, there's a small possibility that I "might" need it.

You sayin that car is even better with the Porsche body? sheesh.
I'm sendin you mine along with a blank check.

If you go after the Charger game you're gonna miss the Jets game with my boy Mark Sanchez, our MV hi school hero and my neighbor a few houses away.

Got a couple tips to help keep the truck going if you don't feel like sifting thru the thread on it.

Body looks bad a$$...

The mirrors supposed to be that far down the doors? I guess maybe in real rally they are since the drivers sit so far back.
