The Canadian TCS series mandates silver can motors in FDTouring for 2012. This was also the case for the 2011 series.

New for 2012 in the GT2 class is that they are now dumbing down to the silver can motors as well. Previously, they allowed black or silver can motors.

Which blades fit the Spec R diff? Searching the thread doesn't return relevant results. The only information I could find was TAM53890, yes I'm using Tamiya universals.

It's probably been posted but I can't seem to find the answer. With the Tamiya alloy diff outdrives, is there a Tamiya or after market D-ring that can be used that won't slip on the diff halves?

I've tried all kinds of glue but the friggin things still slip. The Spec-R gear diff eliminates this completely, but I cannot run this diff in the TCS events.

Anybody?

Use anti-wear between the plate and the outdrives.

Works great, after a few runs re-tighten the diff a bit and then
you will be good for 20 or more rund depending on your driving style!

Im looking to widen the rear track of my FF03, does Tamiya offer wider rear suspension mounts?

The kit comes with "A" blocks you can widen all the way to "F" blocks if yo want. Each letter is a half mm, if I'm correct!

Fantastic news! I assume all of the suspension blocks share mounting points and only differ in hinge pin placement?

What about wider arms, I believe the kit comes with "short" arms, correct?

Hi, can I use my stock FF03 gears and diffs on a Spec R gear case? Has anyone tried this? Any difference in feel like more precise meshing of gears?
Im running brushless 13.5 system.

Also, I can here a humming/whirling sound while running low speed (walking speed), Im not sure if it's the internal gears (all-stock) or spur and pinion (Tamiya .4 module). I havent rebuilt the gearbox since December.
