1-2mm movement
you do not want it tight otherwise it will bind as the sus arm moves up and down

That's how my TA03F-Pro is. I have the AVEX DOME Mugen NSX body on there. I might have to take it out to Tamiya track one day, after I upgrade the battery tray, to fit LiPos.

The latest Speed Passion based brushless motors. The ones with the bullet connectors in the endbell.

As freakah said, the new SP motors are perfect. I heard that the new cirtix combo motor will fit also. Trinity DUO, ballistic, and tekin has some issues. The problem is with the solder tabs, and the positioning of the motor screw holes.

Hey guys, I figured out a way to fit brushless motors in the ff03 without modifying the bulkhead. Like others I ordered a cirtix combo and I am awaiting its arrival, while looking at different motors and trying to get them to fit I came up with an idea for a motor spacer. I had a blown up epic 2 motor and was looking at the front end of it and decided to use that peice as a spacer. All you need to do is use a long enough motor screw and use it as a spacer, the holes will line up perfectly. Here are some pictures, sorry my camera sucks but you get the idea.
