Been experimenting with gear diff for a couple of weeks and the most diff life I can get is about 9 packs.

I run Ofna diff lock with a Hobbywing 13T motor.

We already went trough 3 gear diff, is there something else I could try in that diff?

The Ofna diff lock gets thin like water after 4 packs then the diff just blows up.

Yes sir, and it handles it great !

A hobbywing 13T is a 380 size motor in a 540 case, so it's not like a 540 13T.

Still looking for an answer to my previous question.......

Last winter I was running the SP Cirtix 17.5 BL motor and blinky ESC without any issues. In my club's GT2 class, I was very competitive running against the 4wd sedans. My Spec-R diff never once gave me any issues and is as sold today as it was then and doesn't leak. I didn't use the Ofna Diff Lock though as that makes the diff almost like a spool.

I've been running 500,000wt in my spec-r diff with no problems.

interesting... based on the price sounds like a double deck CF conversion kit... an FF-03MS perhaps?

I've noticed that it doesn't use a D-ring even though the outdrives has a notch to accommodate one. Any body happen to know if tamiya have a D-ring to match?
