It is possible, by using one of the 3 wheelbase lengths, then change the spacers on the suspension pins.
Not tried it so can't say which set up to use.

What is the biggest pinion/spur combo I can fit without leaving of the protection cap. And what is the FDR then?

This is my carpet setup I posted 6 months ago, which is still on it and working even better with a gear diff filled w/ 500k oil.
Tamiya FF03

The only changes I've made since were to go to 600 oil in the front, removed the rear sway bar, and added the red sway bar to the front.

next year, we'll see most cars with gear diff w/ oil, lol. Ball diff probably will be only for pan cars in the near future.

I've missed that! Beautiful!

But why in the world keep the pinions cascade, they could have it replaced by a belt... no?

Talking

Hi,
I just started racing with a Front wheel drive and its awesome with the stock FF03 Pro Setup. So I was wondering if there is any tips or setups that can improve the steering for this car.

Thanks in advance

Depends whether ratio is limited or not.
Still most times 4wd will have the advantage due to traction.

When running brushed/nimh's more facters where in the mix and imho the difference was way less/more equal.
Since ipo+BL the car with the most traction will win.

They ARE fun and a blast to drive for sure.
