In my opinion, it would be a completly spec race, where anyone might have a great chance to beat a TRF driver or a past champion.

I might even go as far as saying you had to run the tamiya spec speed control that is provided in the basic kits.

What could be more fun to watch, than 20 cars nose to tail for 8 minutes? Or being the little guy swapping positions with the greats like David Jun, a Randy Caster, a Fred Medel or even a Martin Crisp.

It would be so much better than restrictor plate racing at Talledaga.
I guess my mind set is different since TCS will never come to where I live and that I will probably be the only one within a several thousand mile radius that will be racing this chassis. But that spec race would be fun to watch.

I have no idea what TCS is, but assume it is some sort of Tamiya Only meeting.
I will be running mine with an HPI Firebolt motor in the 17.5 Sports class against 4wd cars

same here. I've had some close battles with 4wd minis with my m03, so I hope I won't get blown away in TC. Exciting to see how much more top speed I can gain.

KWC was, until it ceased
I was multiple British champion in the 2 classes I ran each year from 1997 to 2001, but it means nothing now

TCS is the Tamiya Championship Series...

it's a tamiya and tamiya parts only race held around the world in different venues

and it's in its 16th year

Heard of the Tamiya Eurocup, which I used to run in from 1993 to 1996, I then switch to the open Scale Touring class which was far cheaper to run in, and faster.

Not sure if the Tamiya Eurocup is still running here ?
Don't see any mention of it.

Anyway, it wont prevent me running the FF03 chassis and having fun showing the 4wd cars a few tricks

I once went to the Eurocup finals, in Vichy, France... must have been in 93 or 94... I ran a 7up Formula 1 car, then... fond memories!

Me and a mate are planning on running these in the 17.5/27t class at bedworth club meetings, FWD is where i starting in scale saloon cars and im looking forward going FWD again at long last.

Just trying to find some good detailed scale looking FWD touring car bodies at the minute.

Tamiya Eurocup in the UK is no more, now replaced by the SPC-UK

If I can get away from Aldershot (I'm the race director there) I will try to come up to your track.
Not been to Bedworth since the KWC meeting in 2001, and never run on the revised layout.

The Mazda and Dodge are FWD, but then the shells are race scaled and not true scale looking, HPI could be your best bet for more to scale looks?
