novice class? check. (and it's just been made simpler).
competitive spec class? check. (have at it motor/esc lovers).
open class? check. (drop it in, and man up on your wheel).
in time, the particulars may need to change, but the general layout is solid. two spec classes, separated by speed and complexity, and an open class for the men.

again, it may not be perfect for YOU, but it's a sensible move on ROAR's part. kudos. (maybe we've turned the corner ....)
All we can ask for.....

What rudeness! Your request to join the NorCal Welcoming Committee is hereby revoked.

Gee Bill. Isnt' that a bit harsh...after all wasn't he the one that "Volunteered" to wear the Hula skirt and dance on the tables?

Art Davenport, old enough not to care who knows my name. LOL

Definitely a move in the right direction, tweaking perhaps but a much better direction than Carpet Nats.

I like the idea of a spec level where I can run against the likes of the pompous (so I've heard ) L. Fairtrace, with out needing a large parts supply on hand Wish I had more vacation time this year

Be curious to see (although I don't plan to run it) what the sportsman class ESC list looks like.

Awesome job to ROAR. I think this is a step in the right direction. Back to basics with a lot more speed separation in classes!

Yes I will run mod too but I'm not coming to Cali to run one class.
....Ahhhh can't you run Expert 17.5 and Open?

Actually....it might be easier to not even attend....just a thought.

Um if you didn't notice I said I will still run mod. If I do come to the nats you can come and say hello too. Just what Roar wants people not to attend.

You are allowed to run 17.5x and open at this event from what I know.

Eric you can run both at the nats. I plan on running both at the nats unless for some reason they limit it like the reedy.
