Help identifying 2 vintage on-roads
From the 80's. One is obviously some type of RC10 chain drive hybrid with Andy's racing arms. Need more info though.
Any help is appreciated. :) http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...1/IMG_0092.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...1/IMG_0093.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...1/IMG_0094.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...1/IMG_0095.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...1/IMG_0096.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...1/IMG_0097.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...1/IMG_0098.jpg |
I have bolink on my mind here. Anyone take a shot?

The electric car looks more scratch. Original Delta shocks, andy's arms. Maybe a trackmaster transmission. I remember those BBS adapters to run onroad wheels on a rc 10. That wasbthe good old days!! Some of the stuff dirt oval guys came up with back in the day was amazing.

The rc10 looks like it has a reworked Team Pit Stop chain drive. Other car looks homemade.

Thanks. :)
Other stabs? |
Top one looks to be a Bolink chassis that has been modified for gas.
Second one looks to be a hybrid. The front end is RC10, rear hubs/ arms looks to be RC10, battery holder/ antenna holder are RC10. From what I remember my buddy had bought a aftermarket front end just like that with a wider stance and a chassis that looks like that. I don't remember who made it but it sounds like Andy's from post above? If it was Andy's I know they made a graphite chassis like the one above. It looks like someone grinded out the battery slots added holes etc. I don't remember the chassis being as rounded in the middle but maybe that's something the person did to it after they bought it. Rear shock tower looks home made. |
that just put a big smile on my face.Dirt oval in the 80's was the absolute best
|
The one with the chain drive looks like either a Custom Works Dominator or another Dirt oval car. I think it was called the SRP...something?? Can't remember. But, it's an over 20 year old car.

The Electric one is an RC-10 with Andy's Arms and a Track Master transmission converted to chain likely with Dominator parts or Team Pitstop Chain drive pieces. Looks like most of my garage of cars in the 80's :)
