Hara's? Difficult to believe.

Carstand not his paintsheme
Transponder on top of bumper! He would never do that. BTW he uses a PTX.
Red + wire. Hara has better taste then that. Black all the way.
LRP. Hara uses Nosram.
Tiny motor heat sink.

It's all in the details but this one looks really ugly and not from a pro like Hara.

It is possible to use the Tamiya steering knuckles in combination with no shims on the center bellcrank. I am told it gives some different Ackerman characteristics, but I have yet to try it. The newer steering geometry is such an improvement over the older single bellcrank style it haven't seen the need to try it just yet.

There are several suspension blocks that are just older, slightly higher, or slightly wider, ect and they are usually the silver ones. Again, they are just for testing. The difference they make is so small it is barely noticeable. They ran the stock suspension blocks that came in the kit by the end of the week.

The setups Hiro posted are the final setups at the end of the race, and they wrote those down in full detail right after the race. Those are the things that proved to be the fastest for each of those drivers. They will always try different things at the race for the sake of research and development. Just because they are trying it doesn't mean it is any faster... trust me.

Oh... that car stand is Hiro's . He was working as the team mechanic at the IIC. Totally his colors haha.

It makes the car a ton smoother overall. I usually find it makes the rear end a lot more stable, while also giving a little more mid-exit rotation. Especially in higher speed corners.

I'm guessing he changed it for the main or is the setup sheet incorrect?

Yes like Korey said, we have tried many different setups in practice and qualifiers. The setup i have posted is the best setup we have found and actually used on the main day. Therefore, the setup sheets are all correct.

Thanks,

hey!, ive just ordered a lrp Brushless Combo SXX TC spec/ Vector X12 Modified 3.0T kit and plan to run this with 50C 2S 5000mah 7.4v LiPO batteries. all this is hunky dory but i was wondering what gearing setup will i need? i am building this project solely for drifting, gunna run lp32-front/lp35-rear drift tyres from hpi on a hb tc d. and also will i need to change the diffs to tougher items or will the tc d parts work fine? so puting long story short, i would like to know what gears i should have and if necassary, what diffs will i need?

if you can help me out, send to [email protected]

please dont send me measages saying stuff like "um im not shure..." i realy dont like cleaning out my inbox.
