For sure, on big tracks, electronics will rule...

Hi guys!
These are obviously great drivers! The best in the world no one doubts. But I do think those cars have way too much speed and power. These drivers respect each other as much as they can but what about all that power in the hands of the less experienced? I've just seen batteries with a 60C output up for grabs...
Anyway, the TCX looks awesome!
Cheers,

While I do agree that those cars were very fast, the track allowed drivers to use that much power and still have the ability to drive consistently. I don't think that the top level drivers will be throwing that much power at their cars at most other tracks.

well I just came back from the ETS in heemstede and it was amazing. scotty named it crazilly fast and really it was.
atsushi "maximum power" hara did great work to outrun and out brake his opponents at the end of the straight. I took some video with my phone which i will upload to youtube. it is not great but you can see the amazing speeds seen from the end of the straight.
the TCX looks great. the features however do look very clever. especially the central layout of all the main weight parts is very nice.
I don't think the modified show gave much insight to the handling because that was mostly about power but it kept to the tarmac even with that much power so i think it is looking good.

a fantastic win for hara. now let's see how the car will perform in the world's warm up race. hopefully ronald volker will be taking part (or is he going to the reedy race like marc and viktor?). it'll be good to see some comparison on a smaller asphalt track where horsepower doesn't matter as much.

Interesting to note that Hara came top all three legs of A Main.
One hell of a driver to consistently beat Rheinard. (I always thought
the German was the best driver. Now Haras my hero)
The overall result looked even more impressive since it doesn't
look like many Hot Bodies were running compared to the (common) Tamiyas
and even with strength in numbers, the Tamiyas still got beat.
Way to go Hara
1. Hara Atsushi – 2pts [Hot Bodies/GM]
2. Rheinard Marc – 4pts [Tamiya/Speed Passion]
3. Wilck Viktor – 5pts [Tamiya/Speed Passion]
4. Groskamp Jilles – 5pts Tamiya/Team Orion]
5. Graversen Steen – 7pts [Tamiya/Speed Passion]
6. Prümper Yannic – 10pts [Tamiya/Speed Passion]
7. Wubben Bart – 12pts [Xray/Speed Passion]
8. Ehrbar David – 13pts [Xray/Speed Passion]
9. N’diaye Cyril – 14pts [Tamiya/LRP]
10.Moore Andy – 18pts [Hot Bodies/Team Orion]
