Well, just changed from Yokomo BD5 to the TCX so I am used to not getting Parts

I am running the Yokomo 44mm Bones/Axles with Corally Blades in the Back because they fit perfect in the Tamiya SpecR Gear.

The Front bones/axles look good so far after approx. 15 runs in modified, however, ordered me some ProD axles. Still run the Metall Spool Outdrives, guess will have to look arround if Delrins from another Manufactorer will fit.

Hmmm, brings up an idea, could check the ones from my Yokomo Tuning Spool, which would allow me to use the Front 45,5mm Bones/axles as well.

Good thing that I kept almost all spare parts from my previous Cyclone TC, and I had a lot !

Well,

Both are Great Cars and have their Pro's and Con's.

The BD5 likes a "Calm & Smooth" driving style to be real fast. Parts are very reliable which is good since the Spare Part support in Europe is more than poor.

The TCX is more forgiving on a "None-Smooth" Driver like me Spare parts are a little problem at the moment but according to "officials" will be fixed soon. I am still good to go since I kept a lot spares from my previous HB TC.

On my Home Track with the TCX out of the Box (almost) from the beginning I managed to run 2/10th faster with the TCX then ever with the BD5. Maybe its the "New Toy" Factor, and like stated before I am not known to drive very smooth

Have to say I am running on both cars a Lipo chassis which is aftermarket, lots of flex which works real good.

Also I am running the SpecR Gear Diff in both Cars. On the TCX with the Yokomo Steel Bones/Axles.
Currently Looking for a way to replace the Standard Metall Spool Outdrives l with Tamiya Delrin Outdrives, or maybe Yokomo Delrin outdrives. If it works this will allow me to use the Yokomo 45,5mm Front axles which are very reliable. Will post if it works.

Being used to "Clip-on" schocks I don't like the "bolt-on" schocks on the TCX, but thats easy to fix/modify.

Big Factor PRO TCX is the Street Price, which is way lower then for the BD5-W.

Thanks fo yours comments FrankH, im waiting for my new car (TCX).
For replace the metal spools outdrives, are the Ref. 67731 are POM outdrives for spool, i use it in may old Cyclone, with good results.

The pivots blocks, are the same from cyclone?, and the Shock towers and sway bars same from TC ? , i see the pulleys are the same from TC, rear diff, etc...and anothers parts, i have some spares from my old car.

Greetings, Luis C.

Scratch that - why don't you offer more reasonable USPS shipping to Canada? I didn't realize EMS was a USPS service...

Other hobby shops can ship small packages for less than $10 - if you could as well, I'm sure you'd increase your sales north of the Border...

Too funny...Right when I saw this post I immediately ordered spares and some hop-ups, but I don't even have the TCX kit yet...LOL. Will pick up the kit in a week or so.
