Of course it's good, hence the thread title.

It's a bummer, but I recall past kits that freshly released were lacking spares. A very popular brand in the past released and I had to wait 7 weeks for the spares. This does not need to be a debate so I will not mention the brand. But the pool of parts made to complete kits are exhausted and then made available. I suspect we are nearing the arrival of the spares in question. I have only had my kit just over two weeks so I am good with it.

Besides, there is an alternative copy of the original...

Hello, i race some years a go with cyclone (not TC), i like this car, very fast in track, i change to another brand, im team driver for this brand, but now i thinking in change to HB again, im not team driver for HB, but not problem.

My question is about setups and behavior of the car in track, is similar to the old cyclone ?, fast in turns, a litle leak of grip rear, the CVDs are stronger that the olds ones?, the diff is the same of TC (Pro diff i think), but if there a gear diff, i see Andy Moore car in Euros, with very good performance, Andy is a very good driver, of course ...

Well, i would appreciate all help, for make a decision.

Thanks in advance, Luis C.

i drove the Cyclone Andy Moore edition and did NOT like it at all. this car is a definite improvement and more suited to my driving style. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised.

The TCX is very similar to drive to the TC with the related advantages of a much better steering and more, more rear grip, no loss of grip.
The CVD is equal to CT (I've replaced him with MIP), the differential is equal to TC, then the best.
I mounted the diff. Gear of the 3Racing, but I have yet to try it.

I just looked on the Sakura thread... It comes with 38T, so we will have to use a 38T gear on the front spool...

But could you confirm that the Sakura gear diff has a good size and fit directly in the rear of the TCX?

Default sakura gear diff

I have tested the sakura gear diff in the tcx.
the only thing you have to buy with it is a pulley from the sakura.
You have to put also 3mm shims
The blades are a little bit tight in the outdrives but its oke.
And you have to dril 3 holes in the front pulley.
I've seen they gonna release 39 and 40 teeth pulley for the gear diff also.

Default 3 Racing gerad diff. on TCX

Picture of the 3 Racing diff. gear mounted on TCX.

You should add about 2.5 mm in thickness (it is better to leave some space), to use the HB drive shafts should broaden into the out drive of 0.2 mm
Of course you have to mount a pulley Sakura on the front spool because the diff. gear has 38 teeth (maybe 3Racing it will produce a gear diff. with pully 39 teeth)

Cool photos and explanations... What about the belts? Could you reuse the TCX ones or did you mount the old TC ones?
