Post it must be ok...

people only seem to be objecting my proposal to use a 3t motor and the choice to use a tcx... the rest of my set-up must be ok..

------------------------------------------------------------------
what type of frequency to clubs usually use?? im unsure about which radio set to get... 2.4ghz, 24mhz, fm, am, fhhs ect. can someone find me a dual trigger transmitter/receiver set thats 3ch and runs on the most commonly used freq.?? doesnt have to be digital transmitter. just need 3ch, common freq. and trimmable trottle/steering

thanks

um.. i think so.. that looks pretty good... what about the horizontal battery mount?? does that effect the balance? more importantly, does the kit effect the balance of the tcx? oh and does that steering servo position take away the twin pole steering??

thanks for finding that anyways thumbs up

lol... i thought that was a conversion kit... it a completely different chassis..
though that is the general idea of what i would like to see available for the txc... maybe i should just opt for a tc-d... how much is a tcd in australia? i live in aus so i mosewell buy it in aus.. not asia!!

I don't mind helping out a fellow drifter, but your bordering on spam now and what's with quoting your own posts

Your better off doing a search for "RC drifting" and spending the night reading up, as the chassis you want isn't even a TCX any more so posting in the TCX thread will serve no purpose.

One thing i will say though, you will not find a TC-D.
They have been discontinued and are rarer than rocking horse crap.

Ohhhhhhhhh and drift assist
Might better to leave that one out if you post on RC drift forums otherwise they'll rip you a new one

Cheers
Mark

Aye the drift assist is really only for kids, far better to learn to drift without it (and more fun).

I'll bet good money if you ask that shop that they're out of stock

Any touring car chassis makes a great drifter.
Pro4, Cyclone TC, TC4 Mi3, Mi4 etc etc

*edit
Your best bet is to jut stick up a new thread with your drifting questions

Very few TCX's will be used for drifting, so it's unfair for us to block up this thread on something 99.9% of the readers don't know or care about.

i just raced mine this past weekend at West Coast RC. i did manage to break a steering knuckle and castor block when i clipped the sweeper island and slid into the retaining 2x8 wood wall. the alum. cvd is fine.

i also had a few mishaps of hitting the same retaining wall square with the side of my car. no broken parts, alum. cvd is fine.
