HB Cyclone TC used by Mr. Yuichiro Takaya that won overall on the Summer Shootout 2010 is slightly altered to simulate the new HB Cyclone TCX overall geometry. Here are the actual pictures of what other modifications made to improve handling capabilities of the car.

Slideaway,

From the pics u posted previously, i think it is now certain that the TCX chassis does have precise holes drilled for FR and RF toe block modification, instead of having it drilled ourself (Barry Baker KO Grandprix setup). True? thnks

Nice, I've been thinking about upgrading my Cyclone TC to a newer TC, now I know what I want. Can't wait to open that box and start building.

now that has been removed. Guess price is still up in the air. I think it will be in line with the Cyclone TC plus $50-100 US.

After speaking with Andy yesterday he beleives that HB will be bringing out different sized FR blocks, so you shouldn't have to do the mod for tamiya or hpi ff blocks.

Default internal gear ratio

with the larger pulleys its going to lower the internal gear ratio to 1.95 if the diff pulleys are still 39.. this seems very low to use with adjustable timing speedies. Especially if you are using 48p gears..

anyone know if this is correct internal gear ratio? I am just assuming the diff pulleys are the same size and the new centre pulleys are 20t..

Cheers

the xray T3 is 1.9....

I would assume most cars are designed with MOD in mind, Hara doesn't run stock

Hello,
Yes you are right. The TCX's gear ratio will be 1.95 with 20T center pulley and 39T drive pulley.

Thank you.
