I doubt that price is correct, RC Champ quoted me 41600 Yen which is pretty reasonable.

We are talking about the TCX aren't we?

Do you really expect them to nearly double the price for a new kit?

71400 Yen sounds like the MSRP and not the street price. I highly doubt it's going to sell at this price at our local resellers.

Slow down guys...

I heard the TCX will be more expensive in Japan than anywhere else (USA, Europe, Asia, etc.) for some reasons.
But no worries, the price you will find at your favorite shop should be slightly higher than the current TC, in the same range than its direct competitors.

Just like Vassago, there must be something wrong in that price.
HB are not that stupid, how to sell a car if it's nearly double priced than the competition ?!

According to the source I got the official images and details:

#68700 HB-TCX KIT - $930.00

Thats probably not the street price though.

The car looks good.

For reference the MSRP for the Tamiya 416X is $932.00 US. I bought mine for around $560 street. Not sure what the discount for Hot Bodies will be though.

seriously doubt the tcx pricing will be inline with xray and tamiya. HB has always been good equipment for cheaper, which is why it sells well
