Can someone tell me how the finish on the shock tower was achieved. Was it filed sanded and glued?

Their pulley are 39t, same as our ball diff pulley

These are what you will need,

1. Spec-R gear diff for Tamiya 416x
2. Tamiya 416x front drive pulley
3. HB Cyclone TC front and rear drive belts
4. Tamiya 416x rear drive shafts
*For the rear drive shafts, you can also use our HB universal drive shaft (44mm) with plastic blades w/some dremel work on the drive cups on the gear diff.

I would suggest to start with #1000 diff lube.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.
I've read some people would like to install a Spec-R geardiff (for the 416), but aren't trying it because at the front a tamiya pulley needs to be used and is a bit of a hassle to make sure it's center.

There's an easier solution;
I used a ball diff pulley instead of the one-way/spool pulley of the 416, used a reamer to make the center hole bigger (ream it from both sides) so that it fits snug over the HB spool. One screw hole will line up so the other 3 can be marked rather easily.

since the 416 rear diff fits, why not fit a 416 spool as well? so no modifications are needed?

anyway, just sharing some snaps of my ride.

Because the spool 416 is not strong like TCX...
