That's pretty much correct - though the spool in the TCX is not actually the v3 spool from before, as the bulkheads are 3mm closer together. I think the outdrives are the same, just the central portion is narrower and it is also made from purple anodised aluminium rather than black steel.

Yes, V3 spool is standard in TCX (just close) and the out drive is on steel, very, very strong.

First run out with TCX today

Fan tast ic

So much more planted than my TC, the corner speed is something else, inproved my best lap times by 3/10ths of a second.
Just need to get used to how sharp the steering is.

is it really that sharp? had my kit done but still haven't done any run with it due to work and stuff. hoping that i can run it this weekend.

did you use your tc set up with the tcx or its a brand new set up from scratch? tips will do as i don't have that much time to test it before our club race.

Yep it was that good.
Used the set up from my TC but ran the kit gold front springs rather than Assoc Blues I use on the TC.
3 hole 1.1 pistons, lengthened the shocks to get a bit more droop ft & rear 5mm on a Hudy gauge, I measure the distance between shock case and ball end cup, this was 12.6mm.
Shocks in holes 3 front & rear otherwise as kit settings.
1.5 camber ft & 2 rear

My car was not quickest in a straight line but awesome through the turns.
