But with less thickness should increase Ackermann?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I am convinced to the contrary ... less spacers, more Ackermann.

A 86 T 48P has a diameter identical to the 115T 64p of series.

Hi

I know on the Cyclone TC you add spacers to add ackerman .

I just looked at the TCX pics & you could be right about the ackerman adjustments .

Can someone that has a TCX confirm this .

Thanks

Yes, less spacers means more ackerman. It's for both Cyclone TC and HB-TCX.
Thanks,

'was supposed to have my TCX's maiden run last night...couldn't even get half a pack of run time coz i kept stripping the spur gear. could because the orion motor i was running didn't have a bevel at the end so i couldn't get it to mesh right with a 31t (was supposed to run a 7.2 fdr with the stock 115t spur, we run 13.5t with tekins). geared up to 32t and 33t but it still kept stripping the spur. seems the xenon spur that comes with the kit is soft and can't handle the torque... will try running a 118t x-ray spur and pray to the high heavens that it holds up.

wondering if anyone has the same problem.

I've been running the same spur for almost a month now, with 10.5t and 4.5t motors and no such problems. Maybe your mesh isn't right?

must be the case. problem is it's near impossible to mesh an Orion motor using a 31t pinion using the stock 115t spur unless i dremel part of the top deck.

must've been your meshing. you must install the pinion the other way otherwise it will wobble. need to make my maiden run but...... damn.
