Yes,they are very similar

The graphite spindle have only the three holes slightly closer to the wheel.

Let me jump into this a little bit. I know many people get confused with the new steering knuckles that has very similar design shape to the existing aluminum kuckles. The steering linkage positions (three holes) on the new knuckles are different from the aluminum one. Please be careful with that when you use them.

Thanks,

Hello Hiro, Will yourself or anyone else from the HB team be attending the Reedy race this weekend. I will be there running my TCX and could use a little setup advice. Do you recommend a starting setup for 17.5/13.5 for the Reedy race?

Thanks,

Kevin

Yes, Hiro, there is a difference of offset holes, about 1.5 mm, I do not know what can effect on the handling, I found very similar ... slightly more reactive those in aluminum.

Hi Kevin,

Unfortunately, most of our team drivers will not be at the Reedy race this year except Tyler Vik and JJ Wang. I'm sure they they will be happy to help you out. Please don't hesitate to stop by their pits and ask questions for setups!

As for the starting setup for the reedy race, i would recommend to start from the Hara's setup from last year. It would be good to start with.

I hope you will do well at there. Good luck!!

Hello,

We are looking at middle of July for the release. Please give us little more time to wrap it up. We have very much confidence with the performance of the new car.

Hi AGNO,

First of all, i would like to thank you for your support as always.

Like you mentioned in your comment, there is a difference of offset holes about 1.5mm and the amount of the differece affects to the steering caracteristic A LOT. With the optimized asckerman setup on the new steering knuckles (#68796), you should be able to get more linear steering feeling which helps to put your car under the control while the car is cornering from entering through coming out of the corner.

Hope it helps.
Thank you.

Theres your answer I dont think there will be a Hara Edition, The new car will be the TCXX

For those interested, New setup is on petitRc http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/hotb...tBodiesTCX.htm

The car was pretty good, I set the 3rd fastest lap time of the weekend, but the finals got rained out so didnt get to see how it was in racing. It was very easy to drive and had ton's of rear grip. I was struggling to achieve an optimum balance for steering and corner speed, so i am now experimenting with chassis plates again.

Where can I find a website here in the USA that sells TCX split blocks, thinner top deck, etc.
