Tested the Smokem chassis , very good, very fast car and very easy control under all conditions, tested also some optionals parts Jet Racing, really really excellent construction, recommended .

Where did you get the Jet parts ?
Have you tried the Smokem chassis on carpet ?
Thanks.

Here http://www.jethobby.com/index.html contact by email.

Still on the carpet I have not tested, but works well on asphalt with low and high adherence.

I'm really curious about the split/detatched FR suspension pin holders...how exactly to they attached to the chassis? do you need to drill new holes? or do they fit in the existing whole in the chassis (2 holes for the standard FR bridge, and 2 holes for the FF 'mod' bridge)

Fix in the existing hole for FR or RF pivot, not possible mounting in FF or RF position.

Default Jet Hobbys

here is a direct link to the tcx parts http://jethobby.com/_Jet%20Racing/CY...X%20Parts.html as Agno mentioned purchasing is made via email. I found it a painless process.

I got my order yesterday with a few sweet looking goodies. Looking forward to trying them out on the weekend

Cool...Yeah, i meant the FR and RF positions...

What I meant about the FR, was using the mod that allowed the FF block to be used in the FR position

Sweet, I'll have to see about getting a few of those parts

Will the new split suspension block for fr and rf fit on the older cyclone?

Hard to tell from the photo if it uses same mounting position.

Thanks

Jamie

i believe it would depend if your chassis has the extra holes drilled in for the 'mod' that allows you to use the FF/RR blocks on the FR/RF positions...the exotek chassis i have on my TC could use them, but that's because it has the extra holes already drilled in (i tried circling the holes in yellow)

If not, you'd have to drill holes in the chassis to use them
