You mean at westcoast? I have been running mod there with aluminum shafts and no problems?

Tamiya do make a 46mm steel bone, the Yokomo does fit and i think even the TOP ones will fit.

Currently I am using the PRO D steel bones up front and I am still going the Roche spool way when it comes out. The spool cups on the std spool are too soft a steel and have worn very quickly in mod, and finding the POM outdrives is almost impossible And the Roche spool cups are indestructable and last forever! they are made from spring steel

Cheers,

Antoni

Eric, don't know if you have tried these sleeve's? It will free up the bind and wear in your CVD's due to not using the grub screw. I've been using these and have broke less dog bones. Hiro uses the HB POM sleeves (same thing) as well and think this is why he hasn't broke any dog bones either. Give it a try...

A question for Hiro ...

Is there a release date for the new steering spindles?
and also for the release of new parts ...

Hi AGNO,

Yes, the new spindles that we have been testing should be available very soon along with some other cool new option parts. I'm looking at middle of May?

Thanks,

Yeah those free up the car big time and they help. I use the Hotbodies POM cup sleeves and they slide on perfect. The car is amazing and solid. Coming from a Cyclone TC, this car has little weak points. I just need to stay away from the boards and get used to running super fast mod motors Thanks Carl

Haha Hiro, the difference is that you don't crash and i crash a lot, especially in mod I know they are strong, i just need to stop slamming into boards at 45 mph
