nope, they should be 44mm - they are intended for the 'old' cyclones...I have them on my cyclone TC and they are definitely shorter then the shafts on my tcx

they WILL work, IF you use the multi-diff from the TC in the front of the TCX, but they aren't a direct fit with the stock/standard from diff/spool from the tcx

so, its true its an option - but not a TRUE alternative for the front end of the TCX

one of the links on hotbodiesonline tells you that you need the from spool/one-way setup from the TC to use those parts on the TCX

Can it be just a simple case of fitting the PRO-D 46mm steel bones on the DCJ's so you can run them up front, as i have a a couple spare PRO-D bones, or does the DCJ bone have a different design to the standard bone ball end?

it has a different design - since its 'double jointed' ... I think the 46mm on a DCJ axel will then be too long..plus the DCJ aren't rebuildable - there is no set screw to take them apart

at this point, the only option is to fit (and its an exact fit) the 46mm Pro-D steel bones to the axles that come stock on the tcx - unless HB releases a DCJ for the tcx in the near future

Yeah im running them on the standard axles up front, have been for a while now, but they have increased the chatter at the front over the aluminium bones, not that chatters always a bad thing. Thanks for the DCJ info.

The TOP 46mm bones work with the existing front end hardware. The only thing you need to do is open up the spool cups with a dremel tool because you will need to use the TOP blades. The TOP bones have to much play in the HB spool cups. This creates a lot of play and backlash in the front end.

The part you need for the DCJ's is specific to the TCX p/n68720 it is a multi diff basically the same as what you have now only with the option to use it as a one way differential as well. The price at A Main is around $50.00.
