Spec-r are also excellent, though the originals TCX are by BANDO and are among the best available.

Default Advice Needed

I have made the decision to get a TCX, however, the parts problem is holding me back, so, hoping you guys can assure me that it wont be a problem in getting parts, and maybe point me in the right direction on where to get them.

I also know the front dogbones are weak and there are alternatives around. What is the easiest way to overcome this problem? Also, when I buy the kit, is there any other parts I should be looking to buy at the same time, spares, and option parts that I should have/need when building the car for the first time? I'm not interested in fitting a gear diff at the moment so dont worry about that.

Any help you guys can give me would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Terry

Just get the TCX.. I have not had a problem with the front drive shafts running 17.5 boosted. Running mod might be a different story.. running the slower classes the idea is they are more efficient.

I haven't has issues getting parts...you just need to know where to look at the places that normally have a good supply..

right now, I cannot find front/rear arms at my normal 'cheap' store so I had to get them at closer to full price at another online location..

biggest thing you'd need to get spares is arms and front knuckles

the front bones will handle 17.5 - but I went and got the Pro-D 46mm shafts, just to be safe

Default Rebuild ball diff

Time to re-do the rear ball diff. Anyone have the step by step to get it perfect. First time re-building.

Secondly who has the TCX front bumper in stock?

the foam part of the plastic part?

either should be readily available - looks like the same one I have on my other cyclones, which are the same ones that are on the Pro4 so a standard HPI issue foam bumper..

plastic is the same, lower is part of the body post kit from the Pro4/cyclones
