When you put the Yokomo spool cups on you also change the driveshafts. 45.5mm are the ones you want. Currently what i have installed in my car since the cheap Tamiya bones pin on the end of it moved! so it is different lengths on each side now hahaha. Stick to the Yokomo parts The spec R driveshafts should fit, but dont quote me on it, But i havent heard the best reviews on them...

If you use the oneway locked you can fit 44mm front driveshafts.

So the Tamiya one's do fit though huh ? Im going to use the steel Tamiya 46mm on these, ordered them from RC-Mushroom the other day. Going to also put the TOP racing axle pin holders on, doing away with the grub screw in the needle roller.

Went testing today, got a chance to run a 0 block, and it was bloody awful...

Im convinced now that less front arm sweep , gives more initial, as it was soo aggresive on initial turn, i could'nt handle it over a 5 minute run, aswell as my laptimes being slower, found it quite strange that the car reacted so much with the change, completely different animal

Went back to the 2.5 block and all was good again.

Not every motor weighs the same. I only had to add weights to the center of the car to make it legal at our track (1420g).

You can google Trains and Lanes in Nazareth, pa....
they have quite a few HB parts on the wall...they do mail order but have to order over the phone.

just a quick update/confirmation.

I received my Yokomo spool cups....plastic with Aluminum sleaves
worked fantastic....but Top photon dog bones...it was butter.

just make sure to drop in the shim the spool first before running...otherwise they will be a lot of side to side play..

Hello,
Went racing today, it was fun, but during the first run ( practice ), the car was hard and slow to drive :/
After a few runs, didnt change the setup but the car was much nicer to drive, execpt in some moments, during on-throtle , if i steered to much the back end would slide ...
My question, how could i improve the handling so that the rear doesnt slide during on-throtle steering ? Is this what people call " oversteer " ?
Thanks
