The Yokomo BD5 is designed the same way, the shock is able to move forwards and back. Im not worried, the car works My shocks only move maybe .2mm. Thats with the aluminium shock pillow.

No, not the stock TCX. Use the strap that came with the car.

Ball studs from the RS4, Pro 4, Cyclone and TCX will work.

just bought tcx and was wondering what parts can still be used from the tc? Pivot Blocks...etc?

Most of the Plastic parts, Hinges, Shocks can be used from the TC.

That is an excellent idea, I did that with the 52 MM XRAY axles.
