The Reedy 40c pack has alignment bumps and is a great battery.

Default 1S WITH BUMPS

Best cell on the market for location on your chassis is the LRP 5400 50c.

If your pack does not have bumps molded into it, then just cut some lexan strips that are the correct width and servo tape them into place. It works very well.

i have been using team associated or exotek racing chassis protector film. the stuff already has adhesive on it and is not as harsh as lexan. ( lexan eats exhaust pipe stingers for lunch). i just wanted to avoid the hassle of cutting them out.

are the lrp batteries available in the USA? have they been keeping up with thunder power?

Team Scream 1S packs do. I ran them in my Gen-X and Gen-XL.
