Default Good brush serration tool.

I'm trying to find a good way to reserrate my brushes either laydown or stand up. I have seen the trinity brush factory 2 and it seems nice but are there any out there that may be something to look at?

I would appreciate any input.

The promatch unit is nice(good deal too) as is the integy unit....they are just serrators, so they are much cheaper than the trinity unit....

Eddie,

Thanks for your reply. I tried to look at the pro match unit and could not see a pic of it. For some reason, the unit is not on their website. Is the unit from integy a xipp unit?

Thanks again.

For the Integy unit

http://integy.automated-shops.com/cg...26104353850.18

You can order the promatch unit directly from them. Its blue and it attaches to the pinion side of a motor....its a piece of machined aluminum with the slots for the different size brushes.

The main difference between the units is that they have a different serrations per inch....I believe the integy is higher....could be wrong.

I was reading in the Promatch Battery thread. IRS maybe carrying the serrator now. That was posted by a promatch employee. I don't think she was a 100% sure.

I have tried them all, unfortunately the "created" serrations are not deep enough...the molded factory serrations produce considerably more power, don't know why? Wish it worked $$! Would be cost effective!

I got to see the serrations on the trinity unit yesterday at the track and I thought they were okay but not deep enough. I do like the way the brush factory can cut the brushes if there is a need to. The xipp unit looks like it might do better but not sure. Thanks for the replys, keep them coming

From what I have heard in the past the Promatch unit makes the deepest serrations. Iīm using this one and canīt tell any performance differences to new brushes. As I saw today Promatch really isnīt selling this thing any longer. Maybe any shop still have it in stock.
