Also should I prepare the shock and upper deck edges as well?

absolutely LOVE the car... but im selling it because i get bored with cars. i wanna build something (i love building things for some reason) and then test it.. race it.. vicious cycle. (good for hobby shops though).
if no one bites.. ill keep it and race it still.. although i want to try something very RADICAL and DIFFERENT.

tb evo 3 diff
hi all first post in this section.
can any one tell me if you can get an aluminium rear diff drives for the tamiya tb evo 3 surikarn...
i keep destroying the delrin diff ..i run 8 x1 with foams..
i keep the diff tight and well maintained but the diff plates keep getting hot and melting the delrin..its an exspensive part and im a bit peed off.

Evo IV carpet setup
Devon Racer,
Here is the setup that I've been using for stock racing on carpet w/ good results the last few weeks:
Front End
use diff instead of oneway
shocks-60 wt. fluid, Associated purple springs, pos. #3 on both arm and tower
camber link-stock position
wheelbase-stock position
susp. blocks-A/A
swaybar-blue
-2 deg. camber, 4 deg. caster, 0 deg. toe
may try -1.5 deg. camber if car oversteers on corner entry
ackerman-stock position
Rear End
shocks-50wt. fluid, Associated red springs, pos. #4 on tower and #3 on arm
camber link-stock position
wheelbase-stock position
susp. blocks-A/C
swaybar-none
-2 deg. camber
tires-Parma plaid on front, purple on rear trued to 2.35" (need to use 6mm hex hubs w/ 1mm spacer on front to clear these tires)
droop-4mm front and rear (less if smaller tires are used)
ride height-5mm
body-Parma Alfa Romeo
Hope this helps....
