Round #1 of the 2011-2012 Florida State Auto Racing Association (FSEARA) series was held on Sept 17th. Held at the Florida Indoor RC Complex near Tampa round 1 was indoors on carpet to beat the Florida heat and rain!

BMI Copperhead 10's filled five of the ten slots in the A-main.

Anyone who has back to back experience with the db10rr and using the copperhead upgrade kit? What do you get with that kit?

I always ran my tires between 2.25 and 2.15 for asphalt. 2.25 for bumpy tracks and 2.15 if its smooth.

Yep. I'm hoping to make at least 5 of the State races this season. I picked up a 2nd CH10 to run outdoors. The carpet car is dialed so I didn't want to change it for outdoors.

I'm not too excited about having to race outside in the heat and bugs but I guess I can survive it

Don't worry, Daytona will wear your tires a little for ya... I'd better stock up if I'm going to make that race. I had fun at race one.

Wow, this thread looks abandoned. Let me liven a bit up by posting a video from last Sunday race in Riga, Latvia.

This is A Main of our local championship race. All cars are BMI, 5 being Copperhead and 1 DB10RR. 4 of the cars running 17.5T + 2S Lipo, 2 cars are on 10.5T + 1S. All boosted. I'm with the yellow/white car starting from 4th, battling for 1st with the orange car, finished 2nd by ~0.2s.

I ran mine on both carpet and asphalt with the stock out of the box settings and ran great in both places.

I had some issues. but this summer want to start fresh and go from there.

it been over a year since i ran her at a big race so. so set would be off.

just a good starting set up. for a short asphalt track.

cheers

Hi guys,

last weekend I discovered that the bladder of my center shock is torn. Does anybody know which touring shock bladder might be a perfect fit for the BMI shock?
