did anyone read Tommy Bergfeldts post? LOL
you should read what he wrote becuse he is Advanced Electronics Team driver and knows pretty much everything about the ESC.

Like he said the BD is based on tourqe and very good accelaration. The esc isnt a top speed ESC and probably is suited for Swedish tracks the most becuse our tracks are pretty small and have the advantage.
Also the esc is built so it gives very good feeling and smoothness.

So you guys cant really compare the ESC´s to an BD becuse they are not built for the same purpose. BD: accelaration, Tekin both acc and top speed, LRP stock top speed. probably that way :P

our biggest tracks in sweden is about the size of the snowbirds track or IIC track.

I heard that

I don't say that the speedo is slow and on the smaller tracks it is fast.
But how on the big tracks like Andy mentioned?
As the biggest track is the size of the IIC, than is my home track big!!.
We have only larger tracks.
The GM and the Tekin are both here popular because of there top speeds.
A straight of 65 and much more is normal out here.

Mount still will not give me back my Speedy!!!

He is going to race next Friday and SMA on Tuesday the week after.. Lot bigger track so should show how it works against long straights.

Now can we please admit should it do well against our National Champion at SMA the BD is more than a match for Tekin's current software?

Greg / Paul talk to AE setup a import deal we could be needing more ESC at this rate..
No I'm not his son!!

But for the winning of the BD on the Tekin, congrats to BD. As long as they still are not availeble here and as long I'm not beaten by it, I'm happy with it

It drives good the BD. I tested it and it field good. That a LRP driver wants to change it to the BD is not crazy.

Alex,

At the moment the BD is not any faster. It is the same pace. If you look at the times there was not a whole lot of difference. Only real difference was if one of them crashed. I am sure that if the BD was the answer from the gods w would have seen it in the brushless class at TITC but alas none in sight

The big difference is the price

Even if it proves to be faster I am not so sure racers would like to take out a mortgage on their house to buy one. Unfortunately not all racers have the spare cash that you have Especially if they spend the large amount and LRP or anyone come out with something faster the following week. You dont see Mounty buying one yet. He is just bludging yours

I am running the BD with a 17.5 duo in the center hole and it waoke up . It is keeping up with the other on a big track . I found that on my 1/12 it need a little motor timing . It simple no need for a booster or li-fe pack.

Rack thanks for the feedback,

Any chance you can share you gearing

Personally I have found for anything over 10.5 there is no real need for Li-Fe pack.

Not using a booster I guess in 12th scale you want the servo to run slow to that kinda makes sense

Cannon,

The price could be a big problem, however as we know people will spend if they think it could be a winning formula.

Not everyone can afford one I am lucky to have enough money to run this product.

The software on this ESC was developed last August ready for the ICC in Los Vegas why I call it v1. Work that out call it 7-8 month old, cannot wait to see what v2 has to offer.

Mount was asked by me to test the speedy, Windsor track record can be made using this ESC (which for me shows the quality of this ESC ) so did not take much for me to agree on letting him keep it another week.

There are ulterior motives for this move on my half.. Club Challenge is coming up and I have registered for 17.5 getting someone quick to find good gearing saves me doing it

Can spend my time setting up my Mod GM powered car instead.

Alex

Thanks Rack..

That is some rollout.... WOW

96.4 rollout, we also found a big rollout works well with this ESC..

that is massive we are only running 51 in 10.5, but that is for the track we are using.. med indoor track

How long do you think it will be until Mikky gets on here and tells us all how easy it is to upgrade his TEKIN, that all you have to do is email TEKIN, and then get a link to the TEKIN website to download the upgraded TEKIN hotwire program to put onto your TEKIN RSPro.

Damn, i could only insert TEKIN 5 times in that phrase, i counted 10 in one of Mikkys posts the other day.

As a user of that brand, i am ashamed thats its been given such a bad wrap by a mong posting everywhere about it.

Hey , I only see "mong" used once and no mention of "VEGGIE" !!
The best drivers will always extract the best out of ANY equipment and make it look good.
I think with an average driver , you notice the differences more...
What motor was Grant using ? Bradd's motor ?
