Tommy what happened on the last ETS? Normally you were more to the front but in the finals you felt a bit to the back.

I heard from a driver that he had a lot of grip roll. Did you had the same problems?

on the Redrc video, you don't see the difference in top speed or acceleration.
In all the A Maine races it looks like all the cars are going the same speed.
As a driver you feel it better were you win or were you come to short.
I didn't feel a lot of differences on the track wile I race. The 1 has a higher top speed and the other wins in the infield but in the end it's all about the same.
How do you feel it?
What do you think about the track in Heemsteden? MACH. the next ETS race.
It's a large straight. will it make a difference in top speed?

Look in the mamba topic.
A Novak is winning from a mamba and a Tekin with 2 laps!!

Look ad the ETS 6th Tekin 7th Advanced.
ETS there for the fastest lap was from a Tekin.

But it is a small track as the lap times are around the 11 seconds.
How big is the track?

My home track is small for an outdoor track but still the lap times are above the 14 sec.
40 meter straight.
Not a real good track to compare the speedo's. here it comes more on the driver.
Indoor I drove also 10 to 11 sec laps with a 10,5T.
The SXX tc spec won from the SXX ss and the Tekin.

So even ish matched drivers

Mambo Max pro, the only ESC I have not purchased

Have been looking at these ESC however the sheer size of the bloody thing puts me off..

If lapping Tekin drivers think that could be more the driver.. who lets me honest is what it comes down too..

BD looked so slow but was not smooth made it very easy to drive...

Tekin BTW due to the track size - Low 5k High 12k

The SXX tc won because it is easier to drive on such a small track.
My best lap times were with the V200 and not with the V203.
I lowered the speed with the V203 till it was just a bit faster than the V200 and that worked a lot better.
The SXX ss driver was his first race with it but he was not happy with it.
The lap times are better than the first post of you.
But the difference between the nr 1 and nr 2 is by my indoor club the difference between the nr 1 and the nr 6.

I was qualifying and I was till the last 2 laps on pole but 2 laps before the end I made a small mistake that cost me 0,5 sec and I qualified 4th.

the second indoor race some good drivers were not there so we had a driver from the B group and the only thing he was doing was moving a side for the other drivers.
He was not happy and he has a Tekin with my setup.
I was 0,5 sec a lap faster.

Driver 1 is a better driver and I don't say that because his faster lap times but because he has a consistence in his lap times.
switch speedo and nr 2 will still be nr 2.

Here is a video of the track were I race.
The yellow car drives with a LRP SPX and the green car with a Tekin and the V200. He drove B and C finals wile the Yellow car was that day the second fastest driver on the track. I was the fastest

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnR-kI9_jVw

Just watch were the yellow car wins. Not in top speed not in acceleration but only by driving style.

Good to see the BD worked well but can you translate your post please

"If lapping Tekin drivers think that could be more the driver.. who lets me honest is what it comes down too..

BD looked so slow but was not smooth made it very easy to drive..."

And I think you will find that car 2 was actually a Tekin ESC in the first results you posted.

Ok Greg, I might not be Alex but I will try to translate. Not only was it very late when his post was made, but it seems Alex has been drinking beers while racing again. Alex, I hope you didn't drive home in that state?

Wish I was there to see it, I just checked the times from the WHRC website rather than try and interpret Alex's drunken sprawl. Here is how I see it:

The BD won the final, 2 of 3 qualys and was faster in the qualy he didn't win but for 2 or 3 mong laps(what would you expect from that driver). Fastest lap of the night was to the BD too. The most frustrated person in the world right now is the BD driver cause he missed the lap record by 0.006s

This must also be said, the Tekin driver(close second of the night) is a very high caliber racer, he owns just about every lap record at Windsor and he is no dummy at setting up his Tekin either. It must also be mentioned that he choses to drive a PINK car which rasies some serious questions

To be fair the track is small and technical, which is where the BD is at its best. Still we got what we wanted, a very fair head to head and the BD won. There is more to come from the BD too. I don't think any Tekin drivers would be shaking in their boots though. Tekin just never stop with new firmware, It just keeps coming and coming and coming.

Hey Mikky, the Tekin lost hands down. No ifs, no buts, no maybes the BD beat the Tekin. what do you think about that? There there now, not the end of the world just the end of your illusion that nothing is as good as the Tekin. Somehow I just don't think this is going to stop you though. Tomorrow you are still going to make another 1000 posts on every thread you can on how nothing can ever win against a Tekin. Some say that Mikky has a Tekin tatoo on his left ass cheeck

Forgive me as its Sat night and I may have had a beer or 2 myself.

Paul,

Yes it was a good test and yes Tekin drivers shouldn't be worried. With Bradd playing around with settings for a 17.5 it took him a few runs to get closer to the right setup. A gap of less than 0.04 secs is not a convincing difference though. It will mean that there are a few ESC's that have caught up.

The interesting test will be on a large track like Whalan. I think the Tekin might have an adavantage there but who knows

As for the pink car, well it has a blue top deck until the spares arrive so the car is a bit tweaked .
Will be good to see further battles.

No doubt and considering the price difference I say advantage Tekin still. Please don't tell Mikky though

The pink car is a great looking car, well made and designed. But when a fully grown man owns one, he must be ribbed.

The funny part is that it looks purple at the track

Greg Greg Greg Greg (Tekin Importer) Is Mikky32 your son

Brad should be getting his spare deck this week so, let battle continue

Mount still will not give me back my Speedy!!!

He is going to race next Friday and SMA on Tuesday the week after.. Lot bigger track so should show how it works against long straights.

Now can we please admit should it do well against our National Champion at SMA the BD is more than a match for Tekin's current software?

Greg / Paul talk to AE setup a import deal we could be needing more ESC at this rate..
