Please understand, I am always testing and trying new things. This does not mean that i am ready to change the car for production. I have tested 2-3 versions already since the release of the CH12. Always looking for the edge and better performance.

I understand, your still testing, not a problem.

Ran about 30 laps today with my CH, had been a long time since wheeling a 12th but it came back to me pretty quickly . Somewhat rough asphalt, OK traction but certainly not a world-class circuit for running a pan car on. Anyways, the car was a blast, I was feeling it for sure. I have run t-bar cars and link/spring type cars before, the CH felt like a mix of the two, it had a lot of the agressivness of the T-car, but with link smoothness. Probably nothing new to hear for most of you guys but I had a lot of fun and had to post my impression. I wish I could get some guys locally to run with me on outdoor asphalt, I love it. Carpet is the deal around here, so that is where the car will live soon.

Anyways, This is the best 12th I've ever driven, just great.

Thats really cool buddy. Thanks for posting your experience with the car on asphalt. When you get ready to run it on carpet, let me know if you need any help.

I agree...keep the quality where it is. I wonder if much could be saved by not machining the battery rectangle and using some sort of locator instead. I like it better the way it is because a locator will take up some space where the electronics are but it might be something to look at.

My CH12 felt great today...I turned the fastest lap of the day several times but I am fighting a little bit of a tweak issue and the car would occasionally get loose on left hand turns and I ended up in the boards a few times because of it and ended up losing out to the other CH12 and only other car running today. Yeah disappointingly small turn out But we have more coming soon. I think my tweak is the balance being off...will have to put it back on the balance buttons and see what's up.

Just go through al the screws in the car. It is annoying when this happens but it really is a good thing. It makes us fix the problem instead of hiding it by tweaking a screw and having the real problem get worse.

Jason, I would like it if you could give me a good set-up to start with on carpet. Using the dynamic strut front end. 13.5 on a tight track, ozite, track is fairly new. They are using odorless traction additive such as jack the gripper. Looking for something that will be fast but not overly twitchy. Thanks Sir.
