We use an upgraded version of the AE strut style front end. We improved on it by using titanium front axles, 7075 aluminum pivot balls, IRS front arms and upper hinge pins. Usually they would all be aftermarket parts. Some opt to use the new AE front end which is also very good. I cant say one is better than the other but they both work extremely well.

What is different on the new AE frontend regarding handling?
Make it sense using the new AE frontend at the 1/10th car?

First off I'd like to thank Jason for all your hard work on this new car and the fact that you keep improving a great car! Also thank you for sending the three upgrade kits next day air to us folks in northern Minnesota. Our club is hosting the Minnesota state on road champs race this weekend at the DECC in Duluth MN.
I am very impressed with the car! I love the design changes made. The simplicity of removing the battery now and the redisigned piviot balls on the flex plates are nice. No more checking for binding on the piviots. I did not have to do any changes on set up from the RR. I myself run CRC pro strut front end but here is my set up for 17.5

.50 front springs (.22 AE)
1* toe out
10* piviot blocks arms spaced back
Double pink fronts
10000 wt on the king pin
Red center spring 35 wt oil
10000 wt in the tubes
Yellow rears
3.5 mm ride height all around with 1mm droop.

But again thanks Jason!!

I've been using the Futaba 9650. Great servo, and never had a problem with the 2 I have.

Hopefully my kit shipped yesterday and I'll have it tomorrow or Friday.

Looking forward to building this sweet car.
