BMI report 2010 Nats
At Australian national titles held on weekend 2 BMI CH12 made 12th scale mod A-main, Andy M – 5th and me – 9th. My CH12 was awesome on Saturday qualify rounds, I was up to 5th but on Sunday I got protested for wheel arch been too big.
I normally use 48mm+ tire at home club races, but this weekend super small tire (43mm) was 1 sec per lap faster which made gap between tire and wheel arch bigger than 10mm, which is STUPID rule for class that can lose up to 3mm per run.
I ended up running 48mm tires for A-finals and couldn’t keep up with pace. Not the best result but sill very happy with CH12 with NFE.
