Did you check the balance of the car left to right? Looks like it would be heavy on one side with the ESC and servo being on the same side.

Hey Guys,
new Setupsheet for the Copperhead Cars is on work now.
At time you can use the latest Version of (editable) DB12RR / DB10R Setup Sheet.
The Sheet you can find in Download Area at raceport.net
Sorry i cant post a direct link.

Keep Racing.

I did a rough balance when I put all the electronics in place and it didn't look like it would take much to finish balancing.

But, this morning, I discovered I was going to need around 27 grams on the left side to get it to balance

A little testing shows the RS is a tiny bit heavier than the RX/TQ booster, and of course the servo is a bit heavy on the end opposite the output shaft. The surprising bit is that the CRC battery is a bit heavier on the side opposite the bullets. So, I had all the heavy stuff on the right.

Corrected now. Not as pretty on the wire layout, but should work, and only took 3g to balance.

Alright, so up about 1.5 mm on the ride height compared to what was recommended to me on carpet. Thanks for the info.

I see you are running Tekin solder posts on inside. You should face posts on out side as they use them as heat sink. Not sure how hot your ESC gets but it should help balance your car with out adding weight as well. Mine gets pretty hot running mod here in Australia.

Is it better to fit turnbuckle ball caps on front of servo saver?
Iíve been running behind servo saver on my both DB12R and DB12RR.
Does it make difference?

In 1/12th scale running anywhere from 17.5 to 10.5 I haven't had my RS even really get warm. On my TC I plan to turn the posts to the outside because I'm getting some fade which may be heat related.

HI,add another cap this will help with heat in mod, with the ballcups going in front or back of the saver is changing the ackermann but the servo will have to be spaced out, mine is in the front i don't think i can get it behind the saver as the servo may have to be spaced out to far and may not work with the angle mount

can some one take a pick of the lipo rx pack, just curious to the size

I'm running 10.5, and the qualifiers can get pretty crazy at my local track with a wide range of skill levels. I'm not new to the RS, but I decided to put the posts inboard to protect the posts against possible impact damage. I haven't seen or heard anyone that I'll be racing with complain about the RS heating up too much.

If I were running mod, I would do something to get more airflow across the posts.
